We like to think the Southern states are all about, warm weather, front porches, family and hospitality.  Well, the idea behind Southern Cup Coffee and the company’s origin is to embody those thoughts and perceptions in a cup of coffee. 

Looking back on the influences that drove me to roasting my own coffee at home, I was in the same place as most busy Americans.  Wake up, get your day started, and use coffee as a kick start to the day. Well, if you’re doing this each morning, and maybe once again throughout the day, why not enjoy the experience of the cup? Prior to creating my own roasts, a “kick start” was the only purpose for a cup of coffee.  This is what I wanted to change, and now it’s my goal to share this new form of daily “kick start.”

Imagine a typical Monday morning heading in to work or dropping off the kids to school. Your thoughts are on meetings, projects, and all the immediate fires that require your attention.
